The main reason for the trip was to play in the BCA National 8-ball Tournament at the Riviera.  Although I finished one round short of a

payout, there's always some sight-seeing to do while there.  Here are some of some of the best pix from the trip.  You can see my BCA

and EnjoyPool.com Professional 9-ball Tournament* pix on Michigan's BCA web site by clicking here.

Annette at her favorite Vegas restaurant, Emeril's New Orleans Fish House inside the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. Emeril's banana cream pie is delicious! We saw this at the Wynn.  Very funny.  John O'Hurley and the cast were excellent.
New York, New York Hotel & Casino from the Tropicana/Excalibur crosswalk. The Excalibur Hotel & Casino from the crosswalk. One of the best of Vegas is the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino, as viewed from The Hilton's nicely landscaped grounds.
The Luxor's front entrance is under this dude. Its pyramid is in the background. A scene from inside the Luxor. Woof!  One of the two Egyptian dog statues "guarding" the Luxor's entrance.
Cruel joke or a sign used long ago? This pile of stuff and the $1.009/gallon gas sign is in back of a station behind the Riviera and across from the Hilton on Paradise Road.  Their price that day was $3.119 per gallon for regular unleaded. The Paris Hotel & Casino with a replica of that famous tower.  This pic was taken from a crosswalk south of the Belagio.  You can ride up to the top for a fee like at the Strat, but the Strat's view is much better. This pic doesn't do justice to the leaded glass ceiling artwork inside the Belagio's main reception area. They also have the best buffet, in my humble opinion.  It's $30, but well worth every penny of it.
